Dubailand Community Guide

This ambitious project, initially unveiled by developer Tatweer in 2003, was slated to include six major themed zones. However, it underwent multiple changes, including a temporary freeze, for various reasons. Consequently, parts of the area and its facilities were passed on to other developers and transformed into distinct residential areas, such as Arabian Ranches, Dubai Motor City, Mudon, and Dubai Sports City.

Today, Dubailand is split into numerous residential neighborhoods, including Dubailand Oasis, Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, Living Legends, Rukan, Layan, Villanova, Majan, Al Waha, Tiger Woods, and Falcon City of Wonders. Potential residents can choose from apartments, villas, and townhouses, ranging from budget-friendly to luxurious. A significant perk of this area is its freehold status, granting full ownership rights to housing, including for foreign citizens.

Dubailand — Location

The Dubailand community is situated near Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Emirates Road, and Al Qudra Road. Other neighborhoods, such as Dubai Sports City, Arabian Ranches, Dubai Motor City, and Mudon, are also closely located. Currently, public transportation within the area is limited, and private vehicles and taxis are the preferred modes of transport. However, several bus stops are under construction across various Dubailand neighborhoods. The closest metro stations are Business Bay, Burj Khalifa, and Dubai Mall.
